So clever, I need to raid my craft and jewelry box to upcycle for this idea! I bet you could find some pretty gems at a garage sale or resale shop that would could repurpose and make this new and creative ornament! You could also,use large sparkley vintage buttons, as I have a few that would be gorgeous on a tree! Those iridescent types, and so,e with rhinestones in the center would also be pretty with a bit of tweaking! Super fun and creative idea!

What a beautiful ornament. It's very different and very easy to make. So it fits all of my requirements for a DIY project. It's easy, quick, pretty and doesn't cost much. And there are so many colors available to use. I think they would make great key chains too. Thank you for sharing this idea.

Oh wow, these Sparkling Gems DIY Ornaments are beautiful!! I love this idea of making the gems into ornaments the way she did them. Sounds so sweet.
