    Beginner Decoupaged Flower Pot

    Materials:

    • Terra cotta pot
    • Fabric
    • Marker
    • Foam brush
    • Scissors
    • Decoupage glue

    Instructions:

    1. Trace your pot to make a half circle.
       
    2. Cut it out.
       
    3. Start applying decoupage onto the pot and press the fabric onto the pot. Don't let any air bubbles through. (Do this step all around the pot.)
       
    4. Cut off the excess fabric from the bottom.
       
    5. Apply a finishing layer and let dry. Enjoy!

    I am really inspired by these decoupage plant pot designs. I have been wanting to try this for some time, and now that spring is almost here I should really get on the ball with it. I am loving the chevron stripe! Here is an interesting use for the pots create bigger ones and use them out on the deck to hold small pool supplies like sunblock and extra towels. Use them in the kitchen or bathroom, too, for utensils and toiletries.

    I love painting pots, but this idea is really awesome. I'm not creative but love to find ideas like this one and get it done! Thanks so much for sharing!
