  9. Just to remind myself to save, save, save, I added a dollar sign charm to the throat of my collaged water jug.

  10. I also left some areas of the water jug un-collaged so that I could peek in and see the coins and dollars that I have been dropping into my super cool new travel savings bank!

I have a jar bank at home. It's nice to have a bigger jar for savings but it will take me hours or days to count all the money.

I saw the upcycled water jug bank, and loved it! I don't have a water jug, but I think a milk jug or any other large container would work. I'm going to try a milk jug.

We bring back our water jugs to the refilling station where they are washed and reused, so I can not see myself doing this exactly. However, there are so many other large plastic containers that we just put into the recycling bin, but not anymore. As I will be having those larges ones to collage and decoupage, maybe I will use them as huge vases for wild flowers outside! Any other ideas would be appreciated.

This is a great project for my craft class this winter. Thank you so much

I think this is a fabulous idea!! This would make a great Christmas gift!!!
