    Materials List

    • Colored craft papers
    • Craft glue
    • Pencil
    • Sharpie
    • Scissors

    Instructions

    1. Select 2 different shades of grey craft paper and pink colored craft papers for the elephant paper craft. Trace the trunk, body and tail patterns on the dark shade of grey paper. Trace the ear pattern on the other shade of grey colored paper and trace the inner ear pattern on the pink colored paper. Cut out the traced papers nicely.

    2. Glue the inner ear cutout in the middle of the outer ear cutout.

    3. Turn he elephant body cutout to the other side. Glue the tail on the back side, keeping the tip of the tail facing downwards.

    4. Glue the extra trunk pattern with the main trunk pattern by keeping the front side of the trunk free. Do not apply glue on the whole trunk pattern, only on the inner side.

    5. Turn the elephant body pattern to the other side again (the front side).

    6. Glue the ear pattern with the body pattern. The ear pattern should be attached between the head and body parts, keeping the round edge of the ear facing outwards.

    7. Use a sharpie to draw the eye and the mouth of the paper elephant.

    8. Trace and cut out a heart shape from a colored craft paper of your choice. Insert the heart cutout between the 2 layers of the trunk patterns.
