Instructions
-
After gathering supplies, cut a heart template from the card stock. Invite kids to trace the heart onto a thin piece of cardboard. Cereal, cracker, or dog biscuit boxes are perfect!

Cut out the heart, and tear a piece of aluminum foil into several long sheets.
-
Next, have the kids wrap the aluminum foil around the cardboard heart, then paint over it with bright colors.
-
Sprinkle glitter over the wet paint, then allow the heart to dry.
-
When the paint is dry, help your kids tape a loop of yarn to the back. The hearts look adorable hung on walls, doors, and windows! You can also string them together to make an adorable DIY Valentine’s Day garland!
