Small Motif (make 12 each with B, C, D and G as Color 1; make 24 each with E and F as Color 1)

1. With Color 1, ch 3.

3. 2nd rnd: Ch 2. 2 hdc in each hdc around. Join with sl st to first hdc. 16 hdc.
    
4. 3rd rnd: Ch 2. 2 hdc in same sp as last sl st. *1 hdc in next hdc. 2 hdc in next hdc. Rep from * to last hdc. 1 hdc in last hdc. Join with sl st to first hdc. 24 hdc.

Large Motif (make 6)

1. With B, ch 4. Join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.

Finishing

1. Following diagram, join Motifs tog as follows:  Place RS of Motifs tog. Join A with sl st through corresponding ch-2 corner sps. Ch 1. Working through both thicknesses, work 1 row of sc to next ch-2 corner sp. Fasten off.
    
2. Join Strips of Motifs tog in same manner.

Edging

1. 1st rnd: (RS). Join A with sl st in any corner ch-2 sp. Ch 1. 3 sc in same sp as last sl st. Work 1 sc in each st evenly around outer edge, working 3 sc in each corner ch-2 sp. Join B with sl st to first sc. Break A.
    
2. 2nd rnd: With B, ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. 1 sc in each sc around, working 3 sc in each corner sc. Join with sl st to first sc.
    
3. 3rd rnd: Ch 1. Working from left to right, instead of from right to left, as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.
