Cat and Mouse Toy

A stuffed crochet cat and mouse make for an adorable toy. Use this stuffed animal crochet pattern from Lily Sugar n' Cream to create a fun cat and mouse set.

Materials:

• Yarn: Lily® Sugar ’n Cream

(Solids: 70.9 g/2.5 oz/109 m/120 yds)
1 ball each of: Lt Blue (MC); Yellow (A); White (B); Beige (D).
Small amounts of Black (C) and Green (E) for embroidery.

• Crochet Hook: Size 3.5 mm (U.S. E or 4) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  
• 1 pipe cleaner for Tail
• Stuffing

Gauge: 16 sc and 20 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

Instructions:

BODY
With MC, ch 2.
**1st rnd: 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st in first sc.

FINISHING
Stuff Body, Head, Arms, Legs and sew tog as illustrated. Sew Cheeks in position, placing stuffing as you sew. Sew on Nose.
With C and E, embroider eyes and mouth.
Cut 3 strands of C, 7 ins [18 cm] long and thread through Cheeks for whiskers.
Insert pipe cleaner into Tail, shape it and sew at bottom back of Body.
