I'm finishing up this pattern and getting ready to do the edging. I feel like I'm missing instructions for the edging. The instructions for the side say to crochet a shell in the double crochet space. There aren't any double crochet spaces on the sides. I feel like there should be additional instructions for the sides such as double crochet then chain then double crochet to end . Then I can do the edging. Any comments?

Beautiful looking afghan.

Looks great for a nice light weight afghan for summer.

This is beautiful! It's officially on my to-do list!
