Notes:
- The sample was created with BLDC Back Loop Double Crochet. This pattern can also be made with DC.
- This sample uses Chainless Starting Double Crochet to start many of its rows, but you can start each row with a traditional CH3.
- This project doesn't have to be perfect as far as stitch count goes. So, if your count is a bit off, just compensate when making the 10 stitch gap so that the handles are centered.
- When using the Chainless Starting Double Crochet, the beginning stitch will sometimes migrate to the left as you work. This will change the number of stitches worked before the 10 stitch gap. For either of these instances, flatten your work and find the center front. Count out five stitches from the center in both directions. These are your 10 gap stitches.
- Blocking is not necessary.

I love the colors of this crochet tote, very refreshing and relaxing. I was trying to start using this super bulky yarn but I cannot proceed with my 8 hook. The bag is so functional.

This could be my new favorite. Most of them are longer than they are wide but this one is wider - love that.

I really like this pattern, perfect for either a quick shopping trip. A gallon of milk and a few veggies perhaps, or for those special more delicate purchases in a regular shopping trip. I would use it for the eggs, tomatoes, bread, etc. I use my own bags and love the sturdiness of this market bag.

I like this pattern and maybe I'll make it longer and narrower. Thanks

I have not yet made this pattern, but plan on it and will add to my saved patterns. I have rated it based on the photo. I love colorful, large bags of unique patterns and totes. I have many patterns saved that I will be making.

I like big, roomy over the shoulder bags because they have lots of room for random stuff, and are very practical.

My favorite bag pattern is the one I most recently made, whichever that is at the time.

This is another great idea. Other shopping bags rip or tear after a few uses. This will hold up for a long time.

This bag makes me think of gazing into the depths of the Mediterranean Sea. it is SO PRETTY. It is totally right up my alley. And, easy to construct with some great pics and instructions. I like how it is all one piece instead of having a handle attached separately. Thanks for giving us this pattern!
