I like this crotchet bag because the technique is different so it doesn't stretch and it has a much sturdy base. I've never used this technique before but I'm excited since it's the same basic types of stitches used and it's simple enough for me. I hope mine turns out as cute as this one though, most of my bag projects don't last long because of over use and this bag seems like it will stand the test. The handles are leather so there's no rush of them sagging.

What a cute bag. I have seen some like these in upscale stores. Now I want to make one. I read thru the directions, which I always do before starting any project. It appears to be a simple pattern. It would be easy to make and not cost much either.

I really like this pattern. It is simple enough for a beginner, but is still stylish. It is a nice size too. The close stitches help to make the fabric stronger, eliminating the need for a liner. A liner is still a good idea though if you are worried about the bag stretching. The leather straps are a nice addition. Thank you!
