I have a question......I'm not an experienced crocheted, but I can do it. What does the following mean round 14 inc, hdc10 (48sts) If I increase 10sts to round 13, that would make 54sts, not 48. All the round increases don't add up. I'm confused. Could someone please help me? Linda

Hi Linda! It took me a minute but I think I've gotten it. ;) It looks like you increase once (2 sts in one), and then do 1 hdc in each stitch for 10 stitches. Another way you might see it written is something like *2 hdcs in st, 10 hdc across*, repeat to end of row. So in this case you'd end up only adding four stitches to the row. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if I can explain that clearer. -Dana from FaveCrafts

I don't know about wearing this in the springtime, but for fall through the first part of winter, yes. I do know this yarn. It is so fluffy and lofty without adding weight. Meaning, it won't make you feel like you are weighed down with a poncho made of concrete. THe pattern is worked in a nice and simple half-double crochet. It gives it a slightly different look than just your normal single crochet. Half-doubles are my go-to lately!

Hi there! I'm just starting this poncho and I'm a little confused. Maybe you can help me. When it says, for instance round 14 inc, hdc10 (48sts) what does that mean? If I increase 10hdc it would make 54sts, not 48. Hope you can help me out
