Lacy Poncho and Cap

GAUGE:
Poncho: 11 sts and 5 rnds = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat with larger hook.
Cap: 12 sts and 5½ rnds = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat with smaller hook.

With MC and larger hook, ch 156 (168). Taking care not to twist chain, join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.

Coil into rose shape and sew tog through all thicknesses.

I love this set! Yes, it is a set! That makes for a great gift for the holidays or cold weather birthdays. There is no way I could buy this at a store without spending an arm and a leg. Unless of course it was machine made and made in China or something like that. I value handmade things, as I am sure you do too! This really looks like a lot of fun to make! And does not use more than a few skeins.

Wow what a beautiful Lacy Poncho an cap pattern! I know I'll be making both in purple. This pattern is well written and easy to understand. I know I'll be asked to make more once people see it. I think I'll make mine just a little longer so it reaches the hips for extra warmth. I really like the look of the lacy edge as well. The pattern doesn't have you blocking it so I'll skip that part that I normally do for ponchos. Thank you for this free pattern set.
