Family Mitten

What? The easiest pair of mittens you can make is found right here. I would say, get some NICE worsted weight yarn, something soft and expensive looking. Maybe Heartland from Lion Brand. The color choices are nicely saturated and they have depth and dimension. This is a good way for beginners to get their feet wet with a little bit of shaping and combining stitches together in one project.
