    Summer Crush Crochet Scarf Pattern

"Coraline's Summer Crush Scarf is a gorgeous and lightweight scarf that can be worn to accessorize all year long. This lovely, lacy scarf makes a quick n easy, one-skein, road trip project. Wouldn't it be the perfect gift for Mother's Day or graduation? You'll definitely want to make more than one! Though this pattern is originally made with a DK weight yarn, a lightweight medium worsted such as Caron Simply Soft or Red Heart Unforgettable are just as beautiful."

You never think of a scarf for the summertime. But freezing cold restaurants and movie theaters demand it. This open and airy scarf is made with a silk yarn for a light feel. I would wear this but done up in a bright turquoise or a pretty pink! I'd add a few rows for a little more coverage as well.

This would be lovely done in different colors and it is light and airy enough to be worn into the spring and early summer. What a great project for a class to begin learning to crochet, but easy enough to take home to finish. This is one of those patterns that once you make one you will be making them for everyone you know.
