V stitches work up so quickly, and using the yarn double strand would make this project go even quicker. I could easily see myself making a few of these up for my kids to have for movie night. They would be a great gift to open early Christmas eve before sitting down to hot cocoa and a holiday movie.

I have always wanted to make a Christmas afghan for myself. I realize now that it would indeed make a great gift for a friend! Equally as wonderful, making a few and donating to your senior center. This yarn is very budget friendly. The first color you use is worked with two strands held together, for your information =)

This Christmas Striped Throw is another lovely project to make. The shades of red, green and white are just the right shades for me and it is easy to make. Perfect as gift to mom, sister, teacher. Lovely for your own personal use. Cheers!

This is super pretty pattern and could be made with so many different color combinations too. Thanks so much!
