I am in the process of making this stocking. Having a hard time understanding the heel opening process with the 24 chain stiches. How does it hook up to the rest of the stocking?

How cute! I really adore this stocking! It's great that it's not fire engine red and grass green too. I like that the project is a beginner level one. I can see where some variation would be fun...maybe two red stripes and then a green one, etc. They'll all look great hanging from my mantel place this Christmas season!

I am a beginner so it will have to be a fairly straightforward pattern. I like solid colors and also non traditional colors like taupes and purples.

I have a stocking pattern that I have been doing since the early 80's. I think it's time to make a change up. This pattern is really pretty and looks easy to do I also love that shade of green. Good Luck Everyone !

OH wow this is something as a beginner I could make for all my grandchildren(6 of them) the boys would love it the girls a different colour. Love the instructions thank you so easy to follow for any one just starting as well. I'm going to practice incase I win.
