Just lovely.. and makes a great adult dress/tunic.... easy to calculate to larger sizes if u have some crocheting experience. Could also just crochet the floral bodice (upper part) and attach to matching/contrasting fabric for a cute little dress/tunic. Great pattern, thanks for publishing here.

This is so cute, I would definitely make it and add a sun hat and a bucket purse. Would you happen to have patterns to suit this sundress in a hat and/or purse?

This is my first attempt at an actual garment so I'm hoping I can get some help on this...I'm getting the beginning stitches figured out but, am I right in that there will only be one side seam to sew up? the directions say sides...and will both sides be shaped? thanks!

JennyBee1, you say the author can be contacted thru the byline, yet there's no link within K.J. Hay for Naturally Caron. So could you provide the actual link or update the page please? I have a friend wants to make this but she doesn't know how to crochet, only knit. So I wanted to inquire if it was possible. Thanks.

"Repeat rows 4-15" means that you will repeat rows 4 through 15 (rows 4, 5, 6, 7, ...15 NOT 4, 15, 4, 15.) So...to get to row 27, you will do rows 1 through 15, then rows 4 through 15...27 rows. Hope this helps...good luck and best wishes. Your grandchildren will love these. Good grandma!!!

I am to row 16-27 and I am having trouble with the instructions. I think that I am reading it correctly when it says Repeat Rows 4-15. It means that I need to crochet row 4 again, then crochet row 15 and go back and forth between the two rows til I have finished the 27th row. But as I am crocheting between the two rows, I am finding that the directions don't work out to keep the same pattern going. It seems to be off-set. What am I doing wrong? Please help me to complete this dress for I am planning on doing three of them for my grand kids.

I'm not making this but I thought it was cute and got interested. I believe "Work Floral Bodice Pattern for 4 rows5 (6, 7) repeats" means "work the floral bodice pattern for 4 rows, and repeat (do this 4 row work): 5 times for size 36 months, 6 times for size 1218 months, or 7 times for T2T4.

I, too, am having trouble with the floral bodice part. I am at a stand still because I have tried to do the floral bodice several different ways and nothing is working. Specifically, I can do the floral bodice pattern, I just don't understand where it says: 2.Rows 14: Work Floral Bodice Pattern for 4 rows5 (6, 7) repeats. What does -5(6,7) repeats mean? And if the picture is for the 12-18 size, the pattern is not matching up. I am doing the pattern for that size and the floral bodice pattern doesn't have the same amount of rows as the picture. Please clarify this part.

Did you ever get an answer on this? I'm at the same spot and can't figure it out. If I repeat the pattern even once, there's too many rows compared to the picture.

How would I alter this Lemon Drop Dress pattern to fit a five year old girl who currently wears size 6 dresses. She's tall for her age. Thank you.
