I’ve used 4 ply cotton and a 1.25mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with. Brown, white and yellow crochet cotton or wool. Crochet hook. Scissors. Thread to sew together. Sewing needle. Darning needle to weave in ends. Black and yellow embroidery cotton to embroider on the eye."
