Crochet Bear Hat
"Recently I have been obsessed with making baby caps. I adore the way they turn out.This is a baby bear cap I tried out. These are very simple to make. Materials Used:- 8 ply Acrylic Yarn(Black,White, Cream and Brown) 4mm Crochet Hook Yarn Needle Start by chaining 6.Slip stitch to first chain to form a circle. Round 1:- Work 12 double crochet(DC) in the circle.Slip stitch to the first DC to finish the round. Tug the loose thread to close the hole. Round 2:- For the next round,start by 2 chain,then work 2 DC in each stitch.Slip Stitch to join. At end of this row you will have 24 stitches. Round 3:- Next,start by 2 chain(this chain 2 will be counted as 1DC),2DC next stitch, 1 DC in the next stitch.2DC next stitch. Repeat 1DC, 2DC in all the stitches around.Slip Stitch to join. You will have 36 stitches at end of this round. Round 4:- Start by 2 chain(this chain 2 will be counted as 1DC),then work 1DC in the next stitch,2DC in next. Repeat 1DC, 1DC, 2DC all round.Slip Stitch to join. You will have 48 stitches at the finish. Round 5:- Start by chain2, 1 DC in all stitches around.Slip stitch at end to join. Keep working 1 DC in each stitch till you reach the length required. Start each round by chain 2."

Instructions
Muzzle:- Take your cream yarn and start with a magic circle. Work 12 double crochet(DC) in the circle.Slip stitch to the first DC to finish the round. Tug the loose thread to close the hole. For the next round,start by 2 chain,then work 2 DC in each stitch.Slip Stitch to join. At end of this row you will have 24 stitches. Next,start by 2 chain(this chain 2 will be counted as 1DC),2DC next stitch, 1 DC in the next stitch.2DC next stitch. Repeat 1DC, 2DC in all the stitches around.Slip Stitch to join. You will have 36 stitches at end of this round. With the black yarn, stitch the nose and mouth on the Muzzle
Eyes:- Start by magic circle and Work 12 double crochet(DC) in the circle.Slip stitch to the first DC to finish the round. Tug the loose thread to close the hole. With White yarn, sew in the eye reflection points.
Ears:- Start with magic circle. Cast 10 Double Crochet in the magic circle. Next,chain 2 and turn. Start with 1 Double crochet in the same chain space,2 Double crochet in next stitch. Repeat all around. Do not join the ends, instead pull in the loose thread to form a semi circle. Leave a long tail end to sew it on to the cap. With the yarn needle sew the ears to the cap. Accordingly , sew in the muzzle and the ears.

My granddaughter loves bears of any kind so this little hat will be perfect for her! It also looks very easy to complete and does not take up too much time. I am looking forward to giving this a try. I might do this in a darker yarn as that is her favorite color dark brown.
