Crocheted Cowl Vest
"This vest features a large cowl neck that's both warm and stylish. It’s also super easy to make since it’s essentially two rectangles that are seamed and the turtleneck is added at the end. It’s made with the beautiful granite stitch which gives it almost a knit or woven look. The chunky yarn really seems to make the stitches “pop” and the wool is warm for cold days. The color options are of course endless with this crocheted vest!"

I am in the process of making a hybrid poncho/sweater right now. But this cowl neck sweater vest will most likely be the next project I'll take under my wing. It seems so easy to make. I love the ease of adding the cowl directly to the neck by working in the round. This way, you can customize it to make it as big or as minimal as you desire. I do like the neutral colors used, but I think it would also look as fabulous in black.
