Fair Isle Tree Ornament
"Looking for something to crochet for that person who is hard to make for? Try this Fair Isle Crochet Ornament pattern! I used Premier Just Cotton yarn, which I picked up at my local Dollar Tree. This is a worsted weight yarn (category #4), but it was a very lightweight worsted. If you are substituting yarn, I’d go for a heavier DK or another lightweight worsted yarn. If you are stuffing with fiberfill it doesn’t really matter that you get gauge, but you do want the stitches tight enough that you don’t see the stuffing. If you are using a 3″ styrofoam ball or plastic ornament to fill your crochet, make sure you are getting gauge. Yarn: Premier Just Cotton, 1 skein each Sage (A) and White (B) or any worsted weight (#4) yarn of choice that gets gauge Hook: US Size D (3.25mm) Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, one 3″ foam ball or fiberfill, ornament cap"
