Halloween Ponytail Holders
"Choose between a Jack o’Lantern Pumpkin or a Black Cat for your Halloween crochet fun. These ponytail holders are so quick and easy - all you need is a scrap amount of yarn, an inexpensive elastic hair tie and a small amount of polyfil filling. I think this pattern would be easy enough for beginners using single crochet stitches throughout. Worked in the round in two pieces which are then sewn together and stuffed. Beginners may find the most challenging part is the embroidery faces. But you could also choose to glue on “googly” eyes, sew on small buttons or add safety eyes instead. The Black Cat version could be made in different colors for the cat lover - so many different possibilities! I have a complete video tutorial available as well for the base pattern so you can see how to work around those elastic hair ties!"
