Peggy's Pocket Afghan
"This unique blanket, the Peggy's Pocket Afghan, was designed for people sitting up—as in a recliner. You can have your arms laying on top of the blanket and hands tucked inside the pockets. Or you can forgo the pockets from the pattern all together and simply have a stunning throw blanket for anywhere in your house. This pattern uses the herringbone double crochet stitch. Detailed written instructions for the stitch are included in the PDF. Several photos are included as well to help with placing the pockets."

Why didn't I think of this? I love Peggy's Pocket Afghan! I am always wrapped up in a blanket and my arms need to have a nice way to come out of the blanket when needed. The afghan does just that and you can add pockets if you want. What a great Idea! The written pattern is well done with some great clear pictures to show what to do. I have saved this one and it's now on top of my "must make" list. I'll be doing mine in purples, not blue. LOL Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
