Simple Crochet Baby Bonnet
"Learn to crochet this simple yet elegant crochet baby bonnet with this free crochet pattern. Makes a great baby shower gift! This pattern is made flat and seamed in the back. Then the bottom band is worked and the ties are made. The picot border is worked at this time as well. It’s a super easy pattern! All of the yarn for this blog hop was graciously provided by We Crochet. They have such an amazing line of yarns! I chose to use Lindy Chain, which is a fingering weight yarn that is a lightweight chainette yarn. I really love the way it works up!! It is a combination of linen and cotton, which I feel is right for a baby. You don’t want them getting too hot, so I steered clear of the bulkier yarns. I love wool, but it might get scratchy against a baby’s head. So this yarn worked up perfectly. I chose a nice light purple, “Whisper” color since I knew I was working up a baby design. Overall I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out in this yarn – and I have enough left over to make something else!
