Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge5 rounds of single crochet = 2in (5cm) diameter.
To make a gauge swatch, make a few rounds of single crochet (more than 5) and measure across the centre, counting the numbers of rounds carefully.
Finished SizeThe snowflake bauble is made to fit a 3in (8cm) plastic bauble with slight negative ease.

- Any Aran or worsted weight yarn in 2 colours. I used Caron Simply Soft, 100% Acrylic (170g/6oz, 288m/315yds) (Yarn A) and Caron Simply Soft Party 1% Metalized Polyester, 99% Acrylic (85g/3oz, 150m/164yds) (Yarn B)
- 4.5mm Crochet Hook or hook needed for your yarn
- A tapestry needle for working in ends
- Scissors
- Ribbon or twine for hanging
- 3in (8cm) Plastic bauble or toy stuffing
