"The Hygge Shawl is an easy to crochet shawl pattern that uses Red Heart Hygge yarn and a size L (9.00mm) hook. This pattern is made up of a single row repeat that is easy to memorize and makes a great project to take with you because it's so easy to put down and never forget where you are in the pattern. Uses three skeins of Hygge yarn - two for the main color and one for a contrasting color. Skills needed are double crochet and chain."

This is like a granny square stitch that she has used to make this hygee shawl. This is a chunky yarn, and I do not normally gravitate toward the thicker yarns, but she has done a great job on this. I am loving the idea of making these as my girlfriend Christmas gifts this year. Of course, I will have to make one for my own self first, and try it out -)
