Varsity Sweater

"The Varsity Sweater is an easy level crochet pattern for kid's that comes in sizes from 4 to 12. This will fit kids with chest sizes from 26-34". The only stitches used in this project are half double crochet and single crochet. You will also need to know how to chain and slip stitch. This sweater is worked from the top down beginning with the contrasting color saddle. The back and front are worked separately to the armhole then joined and the bottom of the body is worked in the round. Sleeves are crocheted in and the only seaming is at the ribbing."

Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook, L/11 or 8 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge12 sts and 16 rows = 4” [10 cm] in sc with larger hook

Finished SizeFinished Chest Size 26 (28, 30, 32, 34)” to fit kid’s size 4 (6, 8, 10, 12). 2” positive ease recommended. Shown in size 10.
