Prepare dye by filling three cups with 8 ounces of water. Add 1 tablespoon of dye to cup 1, 2 tablespoons of dye to cup 2, 3 tablespoons of dye to cup three and mix.
-
Dip each bundle of yarn one time in each cup one time.

Directions for Making Tassels and Pom Poms
-
Take the bundles of dyed yarn, unwind and re-wrap to the length and thickness you would like the tassel. Before wrapping cut 2 6 inches pieces from the bundle. An easy hack for neat wrapping is to wrap yarn around a rectangular cleaning bottle.
-
Take one 6 inch piece and glue it ⅛ inch of of the distance from one end. Wrap the yarn around the bundle and secure the end with glue.
-
Take the second 6 inch piece and pull it through the top loop you just created by wrapping in step 2 and tie a knot.
-
Cut the bottom of the bundle to complete the tassel.
-
Using the Clover Pom Pom Maker create multiple size pom poms. When you secure the middle of the pom pom leave the secure yarn extra long. See package instructions for using the pom pom maker.
-
Take 2 pieces of 3 different colors of yarn and braid. Leave the ends pieces long. Create another matching braid.
-
Tie the pom poms and tassels to ends of each braid.
Directions for Designing the Bag
-
Cut a scrap piece of fabric to create a pocket. Use Fabri-Tac to attach three sides to the bag, leaving the top side open.. Trim with yarn to high unfinished seams.
-
Use yarn and Fabri-tac add add a trim around the edges of the bag and handles.
-
Last but not least drape each braid over the handles!
