"Farmhouse style is very hot right now and burlap is a great way to bring it into your dinning room decor. To give it a little pop you can paint a design on it (like the stripes I did) and add some pom pom trim. If you begin with a plain, ready made table runner then this can be a quick and easy no-sew project to help inject some farm house or shabby chic style into your own home."

I feel like burlap is a fall kind of material so it's very useful when decorating for Thanksgiving. This is a nice way to switch things up so that you can make it a year long decor piece. Adding the pom poms definitely gives it a chic edge that makes country cool.
