Upcycled Food Tray Chalkboard
"Those dull and old plastic food trays that you cannot stand using anymore but are still in your cabinets, can be put to good use. Upcycle these trays and turn them into a decorative chalkboard. This is one of my of my favorite upcycles that I've done. You may have never thought of using an old and dull tray for decorating but once you learn how to transform it into a chalkboard, you will be so proud to have it as a decor in any part of your home."

That's a neat idea! Now I know what to do with all of those plastic lunch trays I stole from prison.

I absolutely love this idea, and I'm just sorry I don't have any plastic trays on hand! This looks like a cute project and I hope to try it.

Having a chalkboard such as this, with a lunch tray being used, would make this a superb way to let the family know what is being served for dinner! You can keep the pretty chalk border, just change out the message every day. Also, if you own a business , what a great way to let your guests know your hours of operation in a real shabby chic way. You could even hot glue beading along the edges of the tray -)
