Decoupaged Gift Box

This beautiful Decoupaged Gift Box from Terri O. is perfect for birthdays and Mother's Day.  Fill this handmade gift box with chocolates, jewelry, or whatever other trinkets you'd like!  This craft is great because no two boxes are ever alike!  You can make one out of paper mache or decoupage a wooden latch box. 

Materials:

Box (wood or paper mache)
Decoupage medium
Brush
Ribbon
Decoupage paper (I used collage paper for one box. All the papers are already coordinated for you)
Embellishments
Glue

Instructions:

1. First decide which colors you want to use and cut your paper to fit your box. Decoupage onto the box and let dry.
    
2. Add embellishments, fibers and ribbon for decoration. I used ribbon for trim and fibers for a handle. Most embellishments are self adhesive. Even so, if you think your box will be handled quite often I would glue it on anyway.
