Mix-and-Match Woodland Puzzle
Can you mix and match a bear head with a fox body and a raccoon tail? With these adorable woodland puzzle pieces, you can make so many funny animal combinations!
Materials List
- Woodland animal cutouts (included in book)
- Scissors
- Coloring supplies, such as markers, paints, colored pencils or crayons
- 3 paper towel rolls
- White acrylic paint (optional)
- Paintbrush (optional)
- Extra-strong glue
- Pencil (optional)
Instructions

Cut out and color the woodland animal cutouts. This sample project was colored with crayons.

Paint the paper towel rolls white or leave them as is.

When the paint has dried, glue the animal cutouts to the paper towel rolls.

Cut one of the rolls into three evenly sized pieces (head, body, legs).

Use the sizing of this cut roll to measure and cut the remaining animals. You can mark each piece with a pencil or hold it up to see where you should cut.

Now you can stack the paper roll pieces and build the puzzle!
