Instructions
-
Cover mat board with sheet of double sided adhesive. Remove release paper. Place metal sheet on mat board. (If the metal is wrinkled, don’t worry. It will be embossed and the wrinkles will get smoothed out.)
-
Place metal side facing the die and roll through mat board. To construct the box you will need two Toolbox end pieces, so you will have to roll those through the machine again with another piece of metal covered mat board.
-
Emboss design into metal die cut shape by placing long box shape inside the Waffle folder. Arrange cutting pads like this: Multi-Purpose Platform with NO TABS, cutting pad, folder with Toolbox shape inside folder, then another cutting pad. Run through machine. There will be some resistance as it’s rolled through but it works! Remove and emboss the other side of the box shape and also emboss two ends of boxes.
-
Fold over Toolbox on all score lines. Fold box up in Toolbox shape and place on end. Add hot glue to three bottom tabs. Add embossed end on top of glue and press down. Repeat with other end.
-
Die cut two handles from plain mat board. Color smooth side (without score lines) black with Color Box Blends ink. Fold handles on score lines and butt handles up to each other. Glue two uncolored sides together. Slip the handle up through the top of the box and glue it to the inside of box.
-
Die cut two label shapes from red mat board. Write sentiments with white pen on labels. Punch holes in labels and add ball chain. Secure on Toolbox handle and let dangle. Add gift cards or small treats.
