Spit Spot Frame
Showcase your best friend in this adorable Spit Spot Frame. Made to look like faux animal spots, this cute frame is perfect for displaying a precious photo of your little puppy or kitten. You can even personalize the frame by adding their name or other words of adornment. Materials:
- One wooden frame, available from a craft shop
- Acrylic paint in the following six colors: mother-of-pearl rose pink; sweet memories (bright pink); plum; powder blue; grey and white
- Two 2cm wide wooden words for this project, the words Love and Joy were used
- Fine paintbrush
- Artline 210 Fineliner Pen
- Plaid Royal Coat Dimensional Magic
- Clear-drying craft glue
- Quick-drying clear matt spray varnish
- Pencil
- Fine sanding paper
- Dry cloth to dust the frame
Instructions:

Sandpaper the whole frame thoroughly. Dust well with a dry cloth before continuing with the next step.

Remove the glass and back covering. Paint the frame with the mother-of-pearl rose pink acrylic paint.

Allow to dry and apply a second coat.

Use a pencil to draw animal print spots on the front of the frame.

Paint the spots, using the remaining five acrylic paints, and allow to dry thoroughly.

Once dry, use the Artliner pen to encircle each spot and allow to dry thoroughly.

Paint the words with the sweet memories acrylic paint and allow to dry thoroughly.

Add the Dimensional Magic to the top of the words and allow to dry for several hours.

Add one coat with the quick-drying clear matt spray varnish and allow to dry thoroughly.

Add Dimensional Magic to the front of the frame and allow to dry for at least 3 hours. Tip: Use a toothpick to pop any air bubbles that might appear.
- Glue the words in place and allow to dry thoroughly.
