I get one venetian blind and cut the slats up to make markers. One blind has enough to almost last forever.

I was a little skeptical about using these tin cans outside given that hey could start rusting faster and not last that long but now hat I know he other benefits am excited to make these. If I knew they can double up as an effective pest control method then I'd have them all over my garden. Thanks for sharing this project.

I am always amazed at the easy crafts I find on Favecrafts and the sister sites that can be used in everyday life. A lot of them are recycled things. That's what I like about the 5-Minute Plant Markers. I never thought of using can lids this way, but I will NOW!
