I can see this little apple feeders in the trees now. Instead of throwing out those plastic bottles our little feathered friends can have a nice place to get a little snack.

Wouldn't this also be a great bird home? Depending on the size of the bottle this could easily be a bird home with an smaller bottle adjacent being a bird feeder. Shucks have a whole community in the back yard if you like.

This is a great idea. My grand kids and I made a bunch last summer. One pair of birds turned it into a nest so we got to watch baby birds being hatched. I learned that squirrels love the food too so I replaced the rope with 30 pound fishing line. It held the birds just fine but the squirrels couldn't get down it.
