This is a simple and fast and very thoughtful gift for a welcoming for some new neighbors. You can put some gloves, plant labels made from cardstock with vinyl over it, popsicle sticks or stones marker. Add some seed packets either from your plants from last year or store bought, a shovel and some pruning and put in a pretty wire basket and add a bow and take to your new neighbor. Some of the stuff can be picked up from dollar store or thrift store or yard sales. Super idea.

If you like papercrafting you could decorate a small notebook for keeping notes on the garden. This is a cute idea, perhaps even as a welcome to new neighbors.

Great idea! I like it a lot. I would add some hand lotion for after you have been out in the garden.
