Bread Tag Charm Bracelet

Materials:

  • Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
  • Tulip 3-D Fashion Paint (I used white)
  • Bread tags
  • Acrylic paint (I used black)
  • Cosmetic sponge
  • Bracelet supplies: chain, jump rings, closure

Instructions:

  1. If needed, twist bread tags back to original shape to remove as much gap where pieces meet at top. Apply a small dab of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue to top on both sides to close the gap. Set aside to dry completely.

  3. Apply small dots of 3D paint in random pattern on each tag. Set aside to dry. Repeat with back side.

  4. Use jump rings to attach tag charms to bracelet chain. (I also found this cool eyeglass chain at the local dollar store which will also make a great bracelet chain.

I save them too, but haven't done anything with them. I'm going to try this. Wonder if you couldn't use fingernail polish for color - so many pretty colors to match the fingernails. Might have to spray them with some protective coating.

Wow! I have been saving my bread tags because I just couldn't bear to have them go in a landfill somewhere. But, I really wasn't sure what I could do with them. Thanks for this unique bracelet idea!
