I like this plarn craft. The designer thought to include a carry handle. However there are no directions that show you how to create the plarn.

I have been collected bags for this type of project for so long. Then I get tired of trying to find somewhere to keep the bags and I finally take them to recycle. Today, I am pulling out the bags I have and start the project. That way I will be inclined to complete it.

This is a very interesting and unique project! Has anyone made this before? I could see this as a great way to tote swimming suits and wet towels from the beach, there would be no worry if it got messy with sand, etc. or for picnic food or anything messy. You could rinse it out easily, and if it does get damaged, no big expense. How clever!

I knitted a bag from plarn one time and it was hard to work with because it has no "give." It might be easier to crochet with. It's amazingly sturdy and can be made in to a lot of different things, but it takes a lot more bags than you think it will!
