Repurposed Cocoa Cans
" As soon as I saw these cocoa cans …. bing! I knew I wanted to upcycle them into storage “tins” and use those gorgeous number graphics I recently found. I’m really pleased with the way they turned out. The simplicity and dignity of the numbers is beautiful. And, of course, I love that the beauty is being put to good organizational use. The project only took about 5 – 10 minutes. (I’m starting to think that most of my projects are super quick ones. Hmmm.) "

We love finding new ways to repurpose everyday items into beautiful and useful craft projects. If you enjoy repurposing cocoa cans, we have some great project ideas for you to try out.
For the beginner crafter, we recommend starting with simple pencil holders or storage containers using decorated cocoa cans. You can easily paint the cans with acrylic paints or decoupage them with pretty paper or fabric to match your home decor. These cute and functional containers are perfect for organizing your desk or craft supplies.
If you're looking for a more advanced project, consider making a set of tin can lanterns using cocoa cans. Using a hammer and nail, create beautiful patterns by punching holes in the cans. Place a tealight candle inside, and watch as the light shines through the intricate designs, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. These lanterns are perfect for outdoor gatherings or as unique gifts for friends and family.
For a seasonal craft project, why not transform your cocoa cans into festive centerpieces for the holidays? Paint the cans in red and green for Christmas, or orange and black for Halloween. Fill them with flowers, greenery, or candles to create a striking focal point for your table. These eye-catching centerpieces will surely impress your guests and add a touch of creativity to your seasonal decor.
No matter your skill level or the occasion, repurposing cocoa cans into craft projects is a fun and eco-friendly way to get creative and add some style to your home. Give these ideas a try and let your imagination run wild!
