Tiny Altered Candy Tin
Don't throw away that tiny tin! Instead create a Tiny Altered Candy Tin from Lisa Fulmer. This is a great recycled craft project that doesn't take much time to complete.
Materials:
- 3.5' round tin
- Alcohol inks
- Fabric paper
- Mod Podge
- Embellishments
- Acrylic paint
Directions:
- I painted the lid with black alcohol inks, decoupaged fabric paper on top, and glued ribbon around the side of the lid.
- The embellishment is a metal pendant and glass heart, with beaded accents.
- I added a decorative key on top of the heart, and dabbed gold acrylic paint around the top edge.

This is beautiful and clever. I've seen Altoid tins set up as miniature personal shrines or containing small dioramas. It seems like there are an endless amount of possibilities to create a small work of art out of something that would be tossed in the trash. Hopefully, people will share their efforts here.
