Upcycled Drink Cozy

In a few easy steps, you can turn an ordinary pair of gloves into an Upcycled Drink Cozy.  Perfect for hot and cold drinks, this upcycled craft project is a great way to give your water bottles, cups, and glasses a new look without spending a penny!  This is a quick and easy craft project that crafters of all ages are sure to love.

Materials:

• Old pair of gloves
• Cup
• Scissors
• Pins
• Sewing machine or needle and thread

Instructions:

1. First use a cup or other round object to trace a circle about the width of the glove.Next cut out the circle, this will be the base of the cozy.  My glove was long enough to use the rest of the glove for the top part of the cozy, but you could also use one glove for the base and a second for the top half of the cozy.
   
   
   
   
    
2. Turn the top inside out, and pin the circle to the bottom cut edge.
   
   
    
3. Sew the two pieces together.
   
   
    
4. Knot and cut the threads.  Turn your cozy right side out. Tah dah!
