This reminds me of the wire edged ribbon which is so nice to bend into proper shape. Making sure the wire is secured in the outer seam edges keeps this headband secure and i think it would be easy to use and do a great job keeping your hair in place. I bet you could use floral guage wire but it might be good to add further padding so the wire does not eventually breakthrough fire repeats use or through washing. Though I would think hand washing would be best. Love this idea, thank you for sharing!

Wow, what a wonderful way to hold up my hair. I love hair accessories, and since I have long hair, I do need to keep it up and out of the way. I really like that these have wire in them to really hold up my hair. I am just wondering though what gauge of wire is right for this kind of project?
