Halloween Charms Tutorial Video

Materials:


 

• Electric drill
• Vice (with foam or soft grip)
• Cool2Cast
• Eclipse gum container (for the molds)
• Sharipie markers
• PLAID Dimensional Magic

Instructions:

1. Before I started decorating my Cool2Cast blanks I sketched out some Halloween characters to get a better idea of the various charms I could make. I think this really helps as a great jumping off point since your art space is quite limited with these little charms.
   
   
    
2. The only detail I didn’t cover is how I drilled the 1/16 hole. For that you will use your 1/16 drill bit in your electric drill and set the speed on high. Place the blank in a foam protected vice (to keep the piece from getting marred). Only drill straight in at a high speed BUT don’t forget to pull the bit out and then gently back in so that the casting doesn’t break. Pushing straight down without coming back up every once in a while will surely break the project.
