Spooky Bat Girl
This Spooky Bat Girl project makes a great Halloween art project. So enjoy making this with your kids or just some friends. Then set it out on display for All Hallows Eve!
Materials:
- Box
- Paint
- Glue
- Glitter
- Plastic Spiders
- Cardstock
- Twig
- Rhinestones
- Foam Adhesive Squares
- Black Pen
- Templates
Instructions:
- Download and print template onto cardstock. Make sure they fit into your box. Clip out and trim the shapes. Edge the cutouts with back ink.
- Paint your box and let dry.
- Glue the background onto the inside of the box.
- Cut out bat wing shapes and add glitter.
- Snip the ring part off three plastic spiders and glitter.
- "Prune" the twig to fit into the box and glitter.
- Adhere your glittered twig to the inside of the box with hot glue. Drape the tendrils of hot glue around your twig to make webs.
- Glue medium bat wing shape to back on "Little Witch" girl.
- Put a foam square onto the back of the "Little Witch" girl and place her onto the background.
- Glue glitteres bat onto her hand.
- Glue the cut out "frame" shape to the outside lip of the box. Let dry.
- Add two tiny red rhinestones to the glittered bat for eyes and blue the bat to the top frame.
- Glue the spiders to the frame.
