Kid Friendly Pollock Painted Pumpkins
Carving jack-o-lanterns is not necessarily kid friendly because it involves sharp objects, and painting pumpkins can get a little old if it's done the same way every year. Create a splash on your block with Kid Friendly Pollock Painted Pumpkins. You and your children will have so much fun channeling the abstract expressionist and your Halloween decorations will look fabulous. The craft instructions are detailed in how to paint a pumpkin in a Jackson Pollock style, but also include a reminder that your children may want to paint their pumpkin differently, and that determination to be different is reminiscent of the painter himself.

Put on the old clothes and have neighborhood kids and families get creative and make bring their pumpkins and get creative by making their own abstract pumpkins. What fun they will have pouring the paint over these pumpkins to see what they will come up with. Have people you know donate any leftover paint they have laying around and putting the paint to good use. Let's see what you come up with. How did you do?
