Materials:
- Cardstock
- X-Acto knife
- Glue stick
- Fabric or ribbons
- Tape
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Get yourself some card stock, an exacto knife, a glue stick and fabric or ribbons of your choice.
- Type up and print out the names in an easy to cut out font. Then position and tape the name cut out to the front of the card stock. Use the exacto knife to trace over and cut out the letters.
- If you press firmly enough you should get through the 2 layers of paper very easily. For any parts that don’t pop out easily just re-trace with the knife in the spots you missed. Use a ruler for the letter tracing as it makes it a thousand times easier.
- If you are not using a stencil type font, remember to save the insides of the letters such as A, D, B.
- Thereafter you have several options. You can get some fabric scraps, ribbons, washi tape etc. and that will be your backing.
- For the ribbons, just glue them onto regular paper and trim the paper size to fit the back of the card stock.
- And then take your glue stick and put it all over the back of the card stock. Make sure you get all the little nooks and crevices of every letter.
