Majestic Embossed Trees Card
Make professional looking, glamorous Christmas card designs at home using the embossed resist technique. This video tutorial from Latrice Murphy explains how to use distress inks, pearlized water, and embossing powder to make sparkly, festive holiday cards!
Materials:
- Cardstock: Bazzill, Vellum (The paper company)
- Stamps: our Craft Lounge
- Ink: Ranger Distress Inks and Tsukineko Memento Black
- String: The Twinery
- Embossing powder: American Crafts Zing white
- Staples: Tim Holtz
- Shimmer: Ranger perfect pearls (Mix with water)
- Adhesive: Tombow
- Other: Glossy Accents

Instructions:
- Cut a white piece of smooth cardstock down to 4”x5-¼”
- Stamp and emboss you tree image along with the snowflakes in white embossing powder.
- Using a sponge applicator add ink to the entire panel.
- Spray image with pearlized water and heat to dry.
- Make a card from red cardstock.
- Before adhering image to card wrap with bakers twine and make a bow.
- Stamp sentiment onto vellum and attach to image panel with small staples.
- Adhere image panel to card front.
