Pretty Peacock Card

Materials:

• Dazzles Outline Sticker ‘93 Lacy Frames and Borders’
• Patterned paper
• Design Tool Kit #3
• Birds of a Feather 3D Paper Tole Kit
• Pop-dots/foam pads

Instructions:

1. Apply a Dazzles outline sticker ‘93 Lacy Frames and Borders’ to one of the papers and cut around it to create a frame. What’s clever about that frame is that it comes in four parts, so it’s easier to manage than if it were one big tricky sticker to apply. Also cut that way they can be used as corners too.
   
   
    
2. Next, create layers using two contrasting papers with matting and layering, making sure I rounded the corner of the second layer so it stands out.
   
   
    
3. Use the Design Tool Kit #3 and cut out a frame using the polka dot paper. Then create layers using the sticker frame.
   
   
   
   
    
4. Assemble the peacock from Birds of a Feather 3D Paper Tole Kit. You have to be gentle when punching out the various bits, but there are always instructions and all the layers are numbered, so you know what goes where.
   
   
    
5. As you can see from the picture above, you need to use pop-dots/foam pads and build your layers so that the focal point (peacock) becomes almost like 3D.
