Sunshine and Lemonade Card

Wish someone an envelope full of summer with this Sunshine and Lemonade Card from Fiskars.  With a variety of paper and embellishments, this handmade card idea is a stash buster for your paper scraps.  This card design would also be great for birthdays, anniversaries, and just to send a friendly hello to your friend!

Materials:

• Fuse Creativity System® Starter Set
• Medium Design Set 101890 - Curvy Square
• Medium Expansion Pack 100960 - Curvy Square
• White cardstock
• Aqua cardstock
• Striped paper
• Scallop border punch
• Foam adhesive
• Variety of paper scraps and embellishments

Instructions:

1. Trim a white cardstock to measure 5” x 10”. Fold it in half to create a top-folded 5” x 5” card base.
    
2. Adhere a 5” x 5” aqua paper to the front of the card.
    
3. Horizontally place a striped paper that has been scallop border-punched as shown.
    
4. Using the Fuse Creativity System® create and add the orange embellishment on the card using foam adhesive.
    
5. Print on stamp a sentiment on a 1.5” yellow circle. Back it with a dark orange scalloped circle. Behind it, add a 1” V-notched strip of paper as shown. Place this on the right corner of the die-cut.
    
6. Wrap the top-fold with baker’s twine and tie a pretty bow.
    
7. Optional: apply “Stickles” to the letter-pressed image for some sparkle.
